It seems that if you had two nodes connected via a layer mixer, then deleted the layer mixer and plugged one of the nodes directly into the Main Output, Davinci Resolve will glitch and the nodes will turn gray (and any adjustments to the nodes will have no effect). There you can override the default behavior and set the output resolution to HD. This issue is that if the monitor is displaying HD, then when I grab a still it is saved as HD. With your still in the Timeline hover the mouse curser over the front or the end and the trim tool will appear. click and drag to either extend or shorten the stills running time. Resolve won't make the Dual Screen menus active unless it thinks there are really 2 screens, and it only does that check when the app is launched. If you have launched Resolve after you have the iMac acting as a second screen, and the Dual Screen menus are grayed out, then apparently Resolve does not think that's an actual second screen.Aug 31, 2023 · Clips are grayed out and not visible in timeline. I discovered this issue after rendering. I would clear the markers and re-run the job in the render queue which reset the IN/OUT markers.
